Seoul E-Land's Ahn Ju-wan, who holds the record for the youngest appearance in K League 2 history, has emerged as a record-breaking icon by adding the record for the youngest multiple-goal match in K League history to his earlier milestone as the league's youngest scorer.
Ahn scored both goals to lead his team to a 2-0 victory in the Hana Bank K League 2 2026 Round 25 away match against Chungbuk Cheongju held at the Cheongju Stadium.
With this victory, E-Land extended its unbeaten streak to 9 games (5 wins, 4 draws) with 45 points, narrowing the gap with league leaders Suwon Samsung (47 points), who have played one game fewer, to just 2 points.
The hero of the victory on this day was Ahn Ju-wan.
In the 45th minute of the first half, Ahn met Euler's right-wing cross with a header to redirect the ball for the opening and winning goal. Then, in stoppage time of the first half, he penetrated the left side of the penalty area and scored an additional goal with a stunning right-footed curling shot over a defender, completing his multi-goal match.
Born on April 14, 2009, Ahn is a promising prospect who won the Cha Bum-kun Football Award in 2022. He joined E-Land in March of this year and set a new record for the youngest appearance in K League 2 history (16 years, 11 months, and 7 days) by coming on as a substitute in a match against Cheonan City FC on the 21st of that month.
Ahn, the son of E-Land coach Ahn Sung-nam, scored his professional debut goal on July 24 of this year during a match against Cheonan City FC in the 19th minute of the second half when E-Land was leading 2-1.
At the time of that goal, Ahn became the youngest scorer in K League history, encompassing both K League 1 and 2, at the age of 17 years, 3 months, and 10 days.
After a brief quiet spell without a goal, Ahn set a new K League record for the youngest multiple-goal match on this day by scoring twice at the age of 17 years, 4 months, and 21 days.
According to E-Land, the previous record for the youngest multiple-goal match across all K League competitions was held by Lee Hyun-seung (then with Jeonbuk), who scored multiple goals against Jeju at the age of 17 years, 7 months, and 15 days in the Samsung Hauzen Cup on July 29, 2006.
In regular league matches alone, the youngest multiple-goal record was held by Yang Min-hyeok (then with Gangwon), who achieved the feat at 18 years, 3 months, and 10 days during a K League 1 Round 24 match against Jeju on July 20, 2024.
With his first multi-goal performance since his professional debut in the match against Chungbuk Cheongju, Ahn continued his record-breaking run, encompassing the youngest appearance in K League 2 history, the youngest scorer in K League history, and the youngest multiple-goal scorer in K League history.
Ahn shared his thoughts, saying, "We haven't been winning much lately and have constantly conceded the opening goal, so I am truly happy that we scored first and won without conceding."
E-Land head coach Kim Do-kyun also achieved his 100th career professional win with this victory.
