The film "Possible Love" is heading to the 70th BFI London Film Festival.
Following its invitations to the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, the 51st Toronto International Film Festival, the 64th New York Film Festival, the 74th San Sebastian International Film Festival, the 22nd Zurich Film Festival, and the 45th Vancouver International Film Festival, "Possible Love" has now been officially invited to the Gala section of the 70th BFI London Film Festival.
"Possible Love" tells the story of a laid-off worker and his wife, alongside a documentary director and her husband, as two couples meet to produce a documentary and confront their different lives and hidden desires.
The BFI London Film Festival is the UK's largest film festival hosted by the British Film Institute, and the Gala section where "Possible Love" has been invited showcases highly anticipated new works. Notably, director Lee Chang-dong has now been invited to the BFI London Film Festival a total of six times, following "Peppermint Candy", "Oasis", "Secret Sunshine", "Poetry", "Burning", and now his new film "Possible Love".
Alongside the news of the film festival invitation, Netflix has released press stills that offer a glimpse into the film's foundation. The stills capture director Lee Chang-dong at work on set as well as the diverse sides of the four actors—Jeon Do-yeon, Sul Kyung-gu, Zo In-sung, and Cho Yeo-jeong—who will display a dazzling ensemble in "Possible Love", drawing keen attention.
Marking director Lee Chang-dong's new work in 8 years and drawing global film fans' attention through the gathering of Korea's representative actors Jeon Do-yeon, Sul Kyung-gu, Zo In-sung, and Cho Yeo-jeong, "Possible Love" is set for a theatrical release on September 23 and will be released via Netflix on November 6.
