Hollywood actor Ansel Elgort has sparked controversy by attending an event in South Korea wearing a yukata, a traditional Japanese garment.
Elgort, well-known in Korea for his roles in movies such as "Baby Driver" and "West Side Story," attended the event held in Yongsan the day before yesterday (the 2nd) dressed in the Japanese attire.
The outfit drew attention because the event was designed to introduce Korean culture and lifestyle to domestic and international audiences.
It was reported that the event organizers had previously instructed attendees to follow a "cocktail attire" dress code, which signifies semi-formal wear.
