Go Woo-suk Returns: "I Want to Pitch Starting Today"

Pitcher Go Woo-suk, who has returned to the LG Twins after wrapping up his stint in the United States, shared his thoughts on his comeback.

Expressing that he has grown further during his time in the U.S., he showed high spirits, stating that he wants to step onto the mound even starting today.

Stepping onto Jamsil Baseball Stadium wearing the LG pinstripes for the first time in three years, Go first expressed his gratitude to the club and fans who welcomed his return.

[Go Woo-suk / LG Pitcher: Although I returned rather late, I am deeply grateful to the LG fans who kept believing in me and welcomed me until the end.]

Saying that he learned a lot and grew over his three years in the U.S.,

[Go Woo-suk / LG Pitcher: I think it was a good time because I could experience my shortcomings firsthand. One thing is that I started throwing the splitter a bit, and it seems to have yielded good results in inducing swinging strikes this year.]

He vowed to contribute to a come-from-behind championship for LG.

[Go Woo-suk / LG Pitcher: (Regarding the regular season championship,) the players know very well that the game deficit is close enough that we don't have to give up until the end, and in my mind, I think I need to go out (to play) starting today.]
