Police Officer Bu of the Jeju Western Police Station has been arrested on charges of falsely closing a missing person case in the Jeju region. Police announced that the results of a profiling analysis indicated that the primary motive was "laziness or neglect of duty amid fatigue caused by accumulated work burdens and heavy responsibilities." In response, Pyo Chang-won, head of the Pyo Chang-won Crime Science Research Institute who appeared on the SBS YouTube show [Discovery of Knowledge], pointed out, "I think they only conducted half of the profiling."
