Former Korea Football Association (KFA) President Chung Mong-gyu was summoned by police for questioning as a suspect today (the 2nd).
Chung, who is suspected of improperly interfering in the appointment of former national team head coach Hong Myung-bo, stated prior to his appearance at the police station, "I believe there was no improper interference whatsoever."
The Financial Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency questioned Hong behind closed doors last month and conducted a raid on the KFA.
