Ashley, the leader of the group Ladies' Code, paid tribute to late members EunB and RiSe, who passed away in a tragic accident 12 years ago.
On the 1st, Ashley posted a photo on her social media along with the message, "I went to see RiSe and EunB before heading to the States, and I still miss you and want to see you so much." The released photo showed lovely pictures of the Ladies' Code members, including the late EunB and RiSe, placed in what appeared to be a memorial space along with a Blue Marble board game box, drawing even deeper sorrow from fans.
Ladies' Code debuted as a five-member group in March 2013 and became the most spotlighted girl group of that year. However, a year and six months later, on September 3, 2014, while returning after finishing their broadcast schedule, they suffered a fatal car accident. Member EunB passed away at the scene, and RiSe, who had been receiving treatment in the intensive care unit, ultimately closed her eyes four days later on September 7.
The remaining three members have continued their activities by making a comeback as Ladies' Code while keeping the memory of the departed members alive. Last April, member Zuny became the first in the group to hold a wedding ceremony. Sojung and Ashley are each active as solo singers, and Ashley in particular is engaged in activities running a podcast radio show and a YouTube channel.
