Financial authorities are extending the grace period for trading limit regulations on the alternative trading system (ATS) Nextrade by another year.
According to the financial investment industry today (September 2), financial authorities recently issued a no-action letter regarding Nextrade's trading limit regulations, notifying the exchange that the grace period will be extended by one year until September of next year.
Under current laws, Nextrade is required to maintain its trading volume limit at under 15% of the Korea Exchange, with stock-specific trading limits capped at under 30%.
However, financial authorities had previously suspended these regulations for a year last year.
Consequently, the deadline has been pushed back from this month to September of next year.
