Two teenagers have been apprehended by police in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province, on charges of confining, assaulting, and stripping a peer high school student to film him.
The Uijeongbu Police Station announced today (September 1) that they have taken two teenagers, identified as A and B, into custody and are investigating them for severe confinement and violations of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment, etc. of Sexual Crimes (filming using cameras, etc.).
They are accused of luring another teenager, C, to A's residence in Uijeongbu at around 12:40 AM on August 31, confining him for about two hours to prevent him from leaving, and assaulting him with golf clubs and other objects.
They are also facing charges of forcing C to completely strip off his clothes and recording a video with a mobile phone.
Police were dispatched after receiving a report from C's family stating that they received a phone call saying C was injured, and emergency arrested teenagers A and B early this morning.
Both A and B have dropped out of school, and they were reportedly in a senior-junior relationship with C.
Police are currently investigating the suspects regarding their motive and the exact circumstances of the crime.
