Actors Jung Hae-in and Shin Sae-kyeong will star together in their first romance project through the Tving original series "Love Virus".
The Tving original series "Love Virus" (written by Choi Soo-young and Nam In-young, directed by Kim Suk-yoon and Choi Bo-yoon) is a drama that follows a long-term couple of nine years who are each other's first romantic relationship. To avoid any lingering regrets about other people before getting married, they decide to take a break and see other people, leading to various events.
Jung Hae-in plays Ha Do-woon, a handsome and capable lawyer and the longtime boyfriend of Kang Chae-rin (played by Shin Sae-kyeong). He delivers a delicate performance that navigates between the comfort of a long-term relationship and provocative tension within an unconventional setup. Shin Sae-kyeong plays Ha Do-woon's girlfriend Kang Chae-rin, a dental associate, and is set to radiate a relaxed charm and independent appeal built from their long relationship.
The two characters, who boast flawless credentials in the drama, make the bold decision to take a "break time" in order to preemptively prevent any wavering that might occur after marriage. Whether this choice will act as a cure or poison for a regretful-free marriage is a key point to watch.
The series is directed by Kim Suk-yoon, who previously directed "My Liberation Notes" and "The Light in Your Eyes", and written by Choi Soo-young of "Love to Hate You" and "My ID Is Gangnam Beauty", delivering a realistic romance.
Tving original series "Love Virus", which is generating high expectations for the pairing of Jung Hae-in and Shin Sae-kyeong, is scheduled to be released next year on Tving.
