Heavy torrential rains have battered the Honam and Chungcheong regions. Two people were reported missing while farming in Jeongeup and Gochang, North Jeolla Province, while a series of damages continued, including roads and villages being submerged.

A four-lane round-trip road is completely submerged in muddy water.
A passenger car passing by at the time came to a halt in the middle of the road, unable to move forward or backward.
As a massive amount of rain poured down all at once, water rushed down from the mountain and flooded onto the road.
However, because the water could not drain out in time due to the swollen river, the road and surrounding villages have been submerged, as you can see behind me.

In Asan-myeon, Gochang-gun, a stream overflowed and a bridge connecting villages was submerged, and in Haeri-myeon, Gochang-gun, residents evacuated as the Gungsan Reservoir temporarily filled up to 120% of its flood level.
