Actor Woo Do Hwan showcases his unexpected variety show skills and embraces his identity as the "son of Anyang" on "Whenever Possible."
In the upcoming September 1 episode of the SBS variety show "Whenever Possible," hosts Yu Jae-seok and Yoo Yeonseok are joined by actor Hyun Bin and Woo Do Hwan as they seek out spare moments in Anyang.
During the episode, Woo Do Hwan immediately established his local credentials, sharing, "I just greeted my dad. His commute goes right through here." He then demonstrated his thorough knowledge of growing up in Anyang by detailing his school commute routes and the history of changes at his schools.
In particular, Woo Do Hwan shocked the older cast members by naming "belly bumping" as the secret behind his toned abs. "When I was in school, I built these abs by hitting my stomach while walking down the street. I have never done a sit-up," he said, demonstrating it himself. When Yu Jae-seok tried to copy him and complained of pain, Woo Do Hwan added the tip, "If it hurts, you just poke it with your finger," filling the middle of the street with laughter.
It was also reported that Woo Do Hwan impressed the production crew and hosts with his physical dedication, even dropping to his knees to succeed in the mission.
"Whenever Possible," which has firmly established itself as a powerhouse among Tuesday variety shows, airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m.
