Golfer Shin Da-in has successfully defended her title at a domestic women's professional golf tournament, powered by an inspired birdie show.
Do you remember the "lucky masterpiece" Shin performed during last year's playoff at this very tournament?
[Go! Go! It's all the way there!]
After claiming her first career win with an unbelievable tee shot that rolled down a cart path, traveling a staggering 408 meters, Shin dominated the course this year with a birdie show rather than luck.
Starting the final round in a tie for the lead, she reeled off an impressive five consecutive birdies starting from the 3rd hole, backed by precise iron shots and inspired putting.
Adding four more birdies on the back nine, Shin finished with a tournament total of 17-under-par, beating the runner-up by four strokes to claim the top spot. This marks her first win of the season and the first successful defense of a title in the tournament's history.
