Fire Breaks Out at Apartment in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon... Person in 70s in Cardiac Arrest

A fire broke out on the second floor of an apartment in Dongchun-dong, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, at around 5:15 PM today (the 29th).

As a result of the fire, a man in his 70s was transported to a hospital in a state of cardiac arrest.

Twenty-four residents living in the apartment building where the fire occurred also evacuated following the guidance of firefighters.

The fire was completely extinguished in 33 minutes.

Based on reports that the fire started in the living room, the police and fire authorities are investigating the specific cause of the fire and the cause of death.
