At around 2:30 p.m. today (the 28th), a 1-ton cargo truck driven by a man in his 30s crashed into a commercial building.
According to reports, the cargo truck swerved to avoid a passenger car making a U-turn, struck a utility pole, and then crashed into the glass window of a nearby store.
The accident left three people injured, including a woman in her 40s driving the passenger car, as well as an 80-year-old father and his 50-year-old daughter who were waiting at a traffic signal. Fortunately, their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Police investigations showed that the driver was neither under the influence of alcohol nor drugs.
Police are currently investigating the exact cause of the accident.
