Director Hwang Dong-hyuk, who directed the drama "Squid Game," is producing a film for the first time in 10 years.
Actor Lee Byung-hun, who worked with him on "Squid Game," will star in the lead role.
Director Hwang's upcoming film "KO Club" is set in a future where youth can be bought with money, depicting the conflict between a small minority of wealthy and powerful elderly people and the younger generation lacking opportunities.
This is Director Hwang's first film in 10 years since "The Fortress," and he wrote the screenplay himself.
He will be teaming up once again with Lee Byung-hun, with whom he worked on the "Squid Game" series.
This marks the third time the two have worked together, following "The Fortress" and "Squid Game."
