A fire broke out overnight on a ship sailing off the coast of Incheon, leaving two crew members dead.
The Central Regional Coast Guard announced that it conducted firefighting and rescue operations after a fire broke out at around 10:40 p.m. yesterday (the 27th) on a 7,000-ton oil product carrier floating in waters 7.4 kilometers north of Jawoldo, Ongjin-gun, Incheon.
There were 18 people on board the vessel; two were found dead, and 16 were rescued.
