Chang Myung-hee, 93, Wins 7th Consecutive Term as Asian Skating Union President

Chang Myung-hee, president of the Asian Skating Union (ASU), has successfully secured her seventh consecutive term.

President Chang was elected during the ASU General Assembly held in New Delhi, India, on the 22nd.

According to ASU officials, President Chang was unanimously endorsed for a four-year term.

Born in Kaesong on November 14, 1932, President Chang has previously served as a referee committee member, national team coach, executive managing director, and president of the Korea Skating Union. She also served as the head of South Korea's delegation for the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics.

Having been elected ASU president in 2004, she has led Asian ice sports for over 20 years.
