A 7-year-old boy has been rescued with only minor scratches after falling from the veranda of a 14th-floor apartment, a story that has recently come to light.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of the day before yesterday, when the 7-year-old boy fell from the veranda of a 14th-floor apartment in Suseong-gu, Daegu.
He had been looking out the window when he lost his balance and fell, creating a situation where he could have been severely injured.
However, it was found that he was saved from major injury because he first caught on a tree in the flowerbed on his way down before hitting the ground, resulting in only minor abrasions.
Additionally, Park Yu-seop, a fire inspector with the Daegu Fire Headquarters who was currently on vacation, heard a thud nearby, rushed to the scene, and administered emergency first aid.
Fire Inspector Park immediately called 119, talked to the boy to help him calm down, and contacted his guardian to inform them of the situation.
According to the guardian, although the boy was greatly startled, he is currently in stable condition. It is truly a great relief.
