In addition to a man in his 60s, surnamed A, who was found dead in Gujwa-eup, Jeju City, on the 22nd, the possibility of three more missing persons is being raised.
The Jeju Provincial Police Agency has repeatedly maintained its stance that it is "still assessing the current status," which is expected to be clarified further through subsequent investigations.

It is reported that the bereaved family members of Mr. A, who filed the initial missing person report on July 2nd, directly told Police Officer Bu, "My husband left a remark saying, 'I failed in business and have a lot of debt. Eat well and live well.'"
They had communicated concerns that Mr. A might take his own life.
However, Police Officer Bu closed the case after relaying a false response to the family stating that "contact has been made with the husband."
Ultimately, following a renewed report by the family on the 21st and subsequent police searches, Mr. A was found dead in a skeletal state.
