The final 12-member roster for the national team competing in the 2026 International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Women's Basketball World Cup has been finalized.
The Korea Basketball Association announced today (the 25th) the players who will travel to Germany for the World Cup, including Park Ji-hyun (Los Angeles Sparks), who plays in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), along with Kang Lee-seul (Woori Bank) and Heo Ye-eun (KB).
Park Ji-hyun, who was unable to participate in the away evaluation match against Japan due to her team's schedule, will join the national team locally in Germany on September 1.
Park Ji-su (KB), who is currently undergoing rehabilitation after surgery, was left off the roster.
Placed in Group B, the national team will play its opening match against Nigeria on September 4 (Korean time), followed by matches against France on September 6 and Hungary on September 7.
