The film 'The Odyssey' has maintained its position at the top of the box office for 19 consecutive days.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated ticketing network on the 25th, 'The Odyssey' drew 186,597 moviegoers nationwide on the 24th, bringing its cumulative audience to 7,295,949.
As it enters its fourth week since release, the film continues to show unwavering momentum by recording daily attendance numbers approaching 200,000. It has also extended its streak at number one in advance booking rates to 23 consecutive days, setting a new record for the longest duration this year.
'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' placed second at the box office on the same day, attracting 46,309 viewers. Its cumulative audience stands at 8,173,920.
The two films are leading a dual box office boom in theaters this summer, raising expectations for surpassing the 10 million viewer milestone.
