Patient-customized cancer vaccines have recently been drawing significant attention.
The news came as the mRNA cancer treatment jointly developed by U.S. pharmaceutical companies Moderna and Merck achieved its primary endpoints in a Phase 3 clinical trial.
Designed custom-tailored by analyzing the genetic mutations of each individual's cancer cells, the clinical trial for this treatment was initially conducted for melanoma.
