A worker in their 40s, identified as A, suffered a cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital following a forklift accident at the Coupang logistics center in Munhyeong-dong, Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province, at around 12:45 p.m. today (23rd).
According to the Gyeonggi Gwangju Police Station, worker A was operating a stand-up forklift inside the logistics center when the vehicle collided with a structure behind it, trapping A's neck between the forklift and the structure.
Emergency responders dispatched to the scene after receiving the accident report transported worker A to the hospital in a state of cardiac arrest.
Worker A is currently receiving treatment at the hospital, and police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident through CCTV footage analysis and other methods.
