Fire Breaks Out at Gangseo-gu Restaurant in Seoul; Woman in 40s Injured

A fire broke out at a restaurant in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, leaving one person injured.

The fire occurred at a restaurant located in Naebalsan-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, at around midnight today (the 21st).

As a result, a woman in her 40s affiliated with the restaurant sustained burns on her wrists and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

In addition, six people inside the building evacuated in panic.

Fire authorities deployed around 50 personnel and some 10 pieces of equipment, extinguishing the blaze in about 30 minutes.

Authorities are currently investigating the exact cause of the incident, focusing on the possibility that the fire started while cooking food.
