Singer and actor Kim Jae-joong is set to take the stage on KBS2's 'Music Bank' for the first time in 18 years, following his TVXQ! promotions in 2008.
Appearing on 'Music Bank' broadcast today, Kim will perform the title track 'Tonight' from his new single 'THE WAVE' for the first time. Previously, his name was included in the next-week lineup revealed on the prior broadcast, signaling his return after 18 years.
Having made his comeback with 'THE WAVE' yesterday, Kim brings his time with fans who have stayed by his side for a long time back onto the stage through this title track. His agency introduced 'Tonight' as a song containing the narrative walked together with fans.
Digital music performance is also off to a smooth start. 'Tonight' claimed the No. 1 spot on Bugs' TOP 100 chart on the day of its release, while the b-side track 'Welcoming Road' took second place, signaling a successful launch for this promotional period.
Starting with 'Music Bank', Kim will continue his music broadcast activities. Afterwards, he is scheduled to hold his solo concert '2026 KIM JAE JOONG CONCERT [THE WAVE]' at the KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, on the 29th and 30th, continuing his domestic promotions.
