Group BIGBANG is kicking off its 20th-anniversary world tour "XX : COSMOS" with a three-day concert starting today (the 21st) at the Goyang Stadium.
YG Entertainment stated that this concert encompasses BIGBANG's past, present, and future, featuring everything from their beloved hit songs accumulated over the past 20 years and solo stages for each member to the first-ever live performance of their new song "BiiiG."
The agency explained that the members personally participated in all aspects of concert production, ranging from the setlist and stage design to the overall direction, imbuing the show heavily with BIGBANG's unique identity.
For this tour, a top-tier band session centered around Wow Jones—who has worked with Usher, Post Malone, and Rihanna—has joined to deliver live performances for every song. Mike Carson, who directed the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show, and Es Devlin, who handled stage design for the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony, also participated.
Previously, on the 19th, marking BIGBANG's 20th debut anniversary, diverse celebration events were held across the Han River and Jamsil areas. Unique activities expanding on the keyword "COSMOS" continued, including BIGBANG being appointed as inaugural goodwill ambassadors for the Korea Aero Space Administration.
Starting with the Goyang concert, BIGBANG will embark on a world tour spanning a total of 33 shows across 19 cities worldwide, including North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia.
The new digital single "BiiiG," released by BIGBANG on the 19th to celebrate their 20th debut anniversary, swept the top spot on major domestic music charts and topped iTunes song charts in 24 regions accumulatively.
