A strong 6.7-magnitude earthquake struck near the Andes mountains in southern Peru at around 1:00 p.m. local time on the 20th.
Rocks and mounds of dirt collapsed, and residents evacuated, but no casualties have been confirmed.
The Peruvian government stated that it has determined there is no risk of a tsunami.
