A body believed to be that of a woman in her 70s, who went missing after leaving her home early in the morning in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, last month, has been found.
According to police and fire authorities yesterday (the 20th), the body, suspected to be a woman, was found at around 12:50 p.m. near the Han River bank at Guri Citizens' Han River Park.
Police believe the body belongs to Ms. A, a woman in her 70s whose trace was lost near Topyeong Bridge on the Wangsukcheon Stream in Guri after she left her home in Dasan-dong, Namyangju, on the 15th of last month.
It is reported that there are no current suspicions of foul play.
Police are focusing on confirming the identity of the body, including conducting DNA testing.
