Jordan Seo, the son of hip-hop duo Tiger JK and Yoon Mi-rae, has made his debut as a music video director for his parents' new release.
Tiger JK and Yoon Mi-rae released their special single "Let Me Love You" today, marking a rare duet performance together. This music video holds special significance as their son, Jordan Seo, took charge of the concepts and planning, being credited as a co-director alongside Director Han Sang-bum to make his official directorial debut.
The music video features Tiger JK and Yoon Mi-rae portraying a sweet couple, delivering a message of love and connection themed around retro arcade games.
"Let Me Love You" was written and composed by Tiger JK and Yoon Mi-rae themselves, with arrangement by K-pop hitmaker and global producer Alawn. It also draws attention as the first full-scale collaborative project unveiled by Alawn since joining Feel Ghood Music, following his multiple appearances at the top of various Billboard charts.
This track serves as the opener for the duo's various musical collaborations planned throughout the year. Tiger JK and Yoon Mi-rae plan to successively present diverse attempts transcending genre boundaries, including R&B and hip-hop. Starting with this track, which carries the wish for a world that loves one another a little more, they have completed a bright and cheerful love song to mark the end of summer.
Meanwhile, Tiger JK is opening a pop-up store to coincide with the new single's release, simultaneously launching new brand merchandise and apparel. The two are also scheduled to take the stage at the representative summer music festival "WATERBOMB," continuing their active summer promotions starting with the new song.
Tiger JK and Yoon Mi-rae got married in 2007 and welcomed their son, Jordan Seo, in March 2008.
