▲ Fire at an apartment in Uijeongbu
A fire broke out at an apartment building in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province, causing some residents to evacuate.
The fire broke out at around 2:00 PM today (August 19) at an apartment located in Geumo-dong, Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province.
Fire authorities deployed around 10 pieces of equipment and approximately 40 personnel, bringing the major flames under control in about 30 minutes after receiving the report.
No injuries have been reported so far due to the fire.
However, six startled residents evacuated in an emergency.
Fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire, focusing on the possibility that it started from a massage chair in the living room.
