An arrest warrant has been requested for a man in his 60s who is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s with an intellectual disability at a standard workplace for individuals with disabilities.
The Women and Youth Crime Investigation Unit of the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency announced that it has sought a pre-trial detention warrant for Mr. A, in his 60s, on charges of quasi-rape of a person with disabilities under the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes.
Mr. A is suspected of repeatedly sexually assaulting the 20-year-old employee with an intellectual disability at the standard workplace for individuals with disabilities where he served as an executive last year, eventually resulting in her giving birth.
The Incheon District Court will hold a pre-trial detention hearing for Mr. A at 2:30 PM tomorrow (August 12).
