A wild boar appeared at a golf course in Jeju today (August 10) and was shot dead by relevant authorities.
At 8:49 a.m. today, a report was filed with the 119 fire department stating that a wild boar weighing about 100 kg was spotted at a golf course in Pyoseon-myeon, Seogwipo.
The reporter told the 119 fire department, "A wild boar is lingering on the golf course course and eating food."
The Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters, in joint response with the police, took safety measures such as evacuating golf course users.
There were no casualties from this incident.
The Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters and other agencies mobilized hunters to shoot and kill the wild boar.
