The 2026-2027 professional basketball season will kick off on October 3 and run until April 11 of next year.
The Korean Basketball League (KBL) finalized and announced the schedule for this season today (the 10th), which will consist of a total of 270 games with 54 games per team.
The schedule was structured based on the principle of playing 11 games per week, featuring 1 game on weekdays and 3 games on weekends.
The official opening match will take place between Busan KCC and Changwon LG at 2:00 PM on October 3 at Busan Sajik Gymnasium.
At the same time, Goyang Sono will play its home opener against Daegu KOGAS Pegasus at Goyang Sono Arena in Gyeonggi Province, and Anyang JungKwanJang will face Ulsan Hyundai Mobis at Anyang JungKwanJang Arena in Gyeonggi Province at 4:30 PM.
Seoul Samsung, which previously used Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium as its home arena before its demolition, will share Jamsil Student Gymnasium with Seoul SK.
Seoul SK will have no games for about two weeks due to its participation in the BCL Asia, and Changwon LG will not be able to play home games for the entire month of October due to facility renovation work at Changwon Indoor Gymnasium.
Prior to the regular season, a preseason tournament called "Open Match Day" will be held for four days starting September 24.
Each team will play a total of two games, one home and one away, while Changwon LG, whose home arena is under construction, will only play two away games.
