Actor Yoo Hai-jin praised his junior colleague Park Hae-il, with whom he has reunited 16 years after the film 'Moss', describing him as an actor with exceptional gaze.
Attending the production presentation for the film 'The Assassin(s)' held at CGV Yongsan in Seoul on the morning of the 10th, Yoo shared his thoughts on Park, saying, "It has been a long time since we met after the movie 'Moss,' and Park Hae-il has a strong sense of steadfastness in his eyes. I have always envied that energy. It was great to see that look on set again after such a long time while acting together this time."
In response, Park awkwardly reacted by saying, "They are snake eyes...." He then returned the compliment, saying, "I was also thrilled to the point where I could act alongside senior Yoo Hai-jin. As everyone knows, senior Yoo brings the reality of whatever era to life—whether it's the Joseon Dynasty or the 1970s. There were so many things to learn that they are hard to list."
Regarding Lee Min-ho, Yoo praised him by saying, "This is my first time working with him through this film, and it made me think he is really smart." He added, "Not only when acting, but also when expressing his own convictions, there were many things he said that made you want to listen closely."
'The Assassin(s)' tells the story of tracking the suspicions and masterminds behind the assassination of the First Lady that shocked South Korea on August 15, 1974. Directed by Hur Jin-ho, the film stars Yoo Hai-jin, Park Hae-il, and Lee Min-ho.
The film will be greeting theatergoers during the Chuseok holiday.
