Actor Yoo Hai-jin shared his thoughts on reuniting with junior actor Park Hae-il 16 years after the film "Moss," describing him as an actor with a great gaze.
Attending the press conference for the film "The Assassin(s)" held at CGV Yongsan in Seoul on the morning of the 10th, Yoo Hai-jin praised Park Hae-il by saying, "I met him for a long time after the movie 'Moss,' and Park Hae-il has a certain tenacity felt in his eyes. I've always envied that energy. It was great to see that gaze again on set after such a long time while acting together."
In response, Park Hae-il seemed a bit flustered, reacting with, "They're snake eyes...." He then replied, "I was also just as glad to be able to act with senior Yoo Hai-jin. As everyone knows, senior Yoo Hai-jin brings out the reality of the era, whether it is the Joseon Dynasty or the 1970s. There are too many things to learn to even list them all."
Regarding Lee Minho, Yoo Hai-jin praised him by saying, "This is my first time working together with him through this film, and I thought he was truly smart." He added, "Not only when acting, but even when expressing his own opinions, there were many things he said that made me want to listen closely."
"The Assassin(s)" tells the story of tracking the suspicions and mastermind behind the First Lady assassination incident that shocked South Korea on August 15, 1974. The film is directed by Hur Jin-ho and stars Yoo Hai-jin, Park Hae-il, and Lee Minho.
The film will be available in theaters during the Chuseok holiday.
