Group SEVENTEEN member Seungkwan (28, Boo Seung-kwan) has been accepted into the Army Military Band and will enlist this year.
According to a News1 report on the 10th, Seungkwan applied for the army military band and passed the final selection. This makes Seungkwan the seventh member of the group to fulfill his military service, following Jeonghan, Wonwoo, Woozi, Hoshi, Vernon, and DK.
His enlistment is expected to take place within the year. Seungkwan is set to make his acting debut through the new drama tentatively titled "Wednesday-Thursday-Friday," scheduled for release next year. He is expected to maintain active promotions in acting, variety shows, and music until his enlistment.
Meanwhile, among SEVENTEEN members, Wonwoo is currently serving as a social worker, while Hoshi and Woozi are serving on active duty in the army. Vernon is set to begin his alternative service on the 20th, and DK will enter active military service on September 8. Mingyu and Dino have upcoming enlistments ahead of them.
