A 6-year-old boy hung onto the escalator handrail and was dragged up to a height of a whopping 6 meters.
Upon hearing screams, a mall employee rushed over and, joining forces with a delivery worker who happened to be nearby, successfully rescued the child safely.
It was a moment that could have led to a major accident if it had been even slightly later.
Thanks to the quick rescue by citizens, a major disaster was narrowly avoided.
