Shin Dong-yeob revealed his parenting approach on the latest broadcast.
On the August 9 episode of SBS's "My Little Old Boy", broadcaster Park Kyung-rim appeared and shared her own experiences as a mother preparing her child for college.
During the episode, Park Kyung-rim surprised everyone by revealing that her son is already 18 years old and will be a high school senior next year.
In response, Seo Jang-hoon asked, "As a mother preparing for the senior year, do you have any care secrets?" Park Kyung-rim replied, "Actually, I am not good at other things, but I believe that eating well and having energy from meals is the most important thing, so my principle is to prepare good meals for him."
Park Kyung-rim added with a witty remark, "Since it is vacation time these days, I pour my time and care into cooking with meal kits made by artisans," bringing laughter to the set.
Watching this, Seo Jang-hoon turned to Shin Dong-yeob and asked, "As a father who sent his daughter to Seoul National University, please pass on your know-how."
Shin Dong-yeob responded, "Ah, for me... a father's indifference?" He continued, "I told her that story. Meet a good man. You need to meet a good man as a boyfriend and also when you get married later. I told her what kind of men she should avoid."
Then Seo Jang-hoon said, "I heard that you only met your daughter once a month. You thoroughly waited to go inside until she fell asleep," and Shin Dong-yeob joked, "Because if she feels like I am paying attention, it might be a burden."
