Shin Dong-yeob and Park Kyung-lim shared their long-standing connection.
On the August 9 broadcast of SBS "My Little Old Boy", entertainer Park Kyung-lim appeared while singing her hit song "Illusion of Swamp".
During the broadcast, Shin Dong-yeob expressed admiration, saying, "She has been singing it continuously for 24 years, and she has gotten even better than when she first started."
In response, Park Kyung-lim joked, "This is live performance that swallowed the album, live performance that devoured the album."
Park Kyung-lim then shared that she had known Shin Dong-yeob even before her debut, saying, "Shin Dong-yeob is friends with my oldest sister and brother-in-law. My oldest sister said her friend was debuting and watched the first broadcast with me, and that person was Shin Dong-yeob. At the time, my sister said that if he couldn't become a comedian, no one in our country could become one," drawing attention.
Shin Dong-yeob responded, "Her sister said her younger sibling had incredible talent, and that turned out to be Park Kyung-lim. After her debut, she soared to success, and I really felt that talent simply cannot be hidden no matter how hard you try."
Park Kyung-lim said that when she hosted programs alongside Shin Dong-yeob after her debut, it felt so surreal and like she was dreaming.
Park Kyung-lim has been making a major mark as an MC for entertainment events. Dominating the MC spots for nearly all press previews and production presentations of domestic releases, she is also well-known for preparing different outfits for each project.
Regarding her concept-tailored outfits, Park Kyung-lim showed her professional side, stating, "Because these are projects created by pouring one's soul into them, I prepare them so people can tell just by looking at the outfits."
At this, Shin Dong-yeob caused an outburst of laughter by saying, "She is practically like a pig's head in the entertainment industry."
