A man in his 60s has been apprehended by police on suspicion of murdering an acquaintance with a weapon following an argument.
The Seoul Nowon Police Station announced today (the 9th) that it has arrested a man in his 60s, identified as A, on murder charges and is currently investigating him.
A is suspected of stabbing and killing an acquaintance in Gongneung-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul, at around 10:50 PM last night.
At the time of the crime, A was reportedly under the influence of alcohol and is said to have stated during police questioning that he committed the crime after getting into an argument.
Police plan to investigate the exact motive behind the crime and apply for an arrest warrant for A.
