Lee Kang-in, who joined the Spanish professional football powerhouse Atletico Madrid and is ahead of his first preseason match in Korea, completed his initiation with a Korean food dinner party.
The Atletico Madrid club introduced through its official channel today that Lee hosted a full-team dinner in Seoul the previous evening.
Looking at the commemorative photo posted by the club, they appear to have dined at a Korean barbecue restaurant in Seoul.
Atletico Madrid visited Korea to play a friendly match against Manchester City (England) for the 2026 Coupang Play Series at the Seoul World Cup Stadium tomorrow at 8:00 PM.
Lee, who had been playing for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in France before joining Atletico Madrid last month, was building up his fitness domestically and joined the squad that arrived in the country on the 6th.
Instead of greeting them at the airport due to safety concerns, Lee welcomed his teammates at the hotel, and on the day he officially began training as a member of Atletico Madrid, he treated them to dinner to celebrate their arrival.
According to the Atletico club, Lee invited all members of the club staying in Seoul, including players, coaching staff, and support staff, to enjoy a variety of Korean dishes together.
The total number of attendees is known to be around 80.
