A teenage son has been arrested in Incheon on charges of murdering his mother during an argument.
According to the Incheon Samsan Police Station, 18-year-old A is suspected of stabbing and killing his 40-year-old mother, B, with a weapon at their apartment in Samsan-dong, Bupyeong-gu, around 8:30 PM yesterday (August 7) during a dispute.
Teenager A reported himself to the authorities after the crime, and although mother B was transported to a hospital, she passed away.
Teenager A had dropped out of high school and was unemployed. His father and younger sibling, who live with them, were reportedly not at home at the time.
Police have arrested teenager A on charges of patricide and are investigating the exact motive behind the crime.
