Kim Da-hye admits she 'cleared her mind' after relentless push from Kang Shin-woo and his mother on 'Match To Marry: With Parents 2'

Kim Da-hye felt burdened by Kang Shin-woo and his mother.

On the August 6 broadcast of the SBS reality show "Match To Marry: With Parents 2", the final day ahead of the final decision was depicted.

During the broadcast, Kang Shin-woo blamed his mother, claiming she was the reason Kim Da-hye started keeping her distance from him.

Kang Shin-woo lashed out, saying, "Mom, you've never chosen her even once. I was the only one choosing her all this time. Why are you messing things up like this?" Watching this, the panelists expressed regret, saying, "Shin-woo has lost his cool. He is looking for excuses right now," and, "Why take it out on your mom? Da-hye's heart is simply not attracted to Shin-woo in a romantic way."

In response to her son's reaction, Kang Shin-woo's mother requested a final one-on-one talk with Kim Da-hye. She drew attention by pulling out items her son had prepared and launching a gifting offensive.

Kang Shin-woo's mother comforted Kim Da-hye, who suddenly started crying, by giving her a hug. She asked, "Are these tears of emotion?" Kang Shin-woo's mother also stated, "Honestly, I don't care about religion. I think how you feel toward each other is what matters in religious issues. You just need to try together."

In response, Kim Da-hye started by saying, "I am so sorry, as this might sound very rude to you, Mother." She then honestly confessed, "It is not because Shin-woo oppa lacks anything in absolute terms, but when I think about whether my heart is settled enough for this relationship to continue, I don't think it is."

Kim Da-hye declared, "Making a choice in the final selection when I am not certain could end up hurting us more," adding, "Actually, after today's date ended, I have already cleared my mind."

Hearing this, Kang Shin-woo's mother said, "He must have come on too strong, which probably made Da-hye feel burdened," showing understanding of the pressure Kim Da-hye felt from her son's actions. However, she asked, "I thought Da-hye would become my person, but can I still keep a positive mindset until the end?"

Kim Da-hye could not readily give an answer. Upon this, Kang Shin-woo's mother drew attention by saying, "I am only for Da-hye. Think about it carefully. I will support you until the end."

Expressing her thoughts on this, Kim Da-hye said, "Even after I communicated my thoughts, hearing people say 'I still support Da-hye and Shin-woo' only made me feel more burdened and weighed down on my shoulders."

Returning to the dorm, Kim Da-hye confessed that Kang Shin-woo's mother made her heart feel even heavier, saying, "Did my actions give him certainty? Did I behave in a way that led to this?" and, "All of their phrasing and ways of speaking felt coercive and burdensome. Even after I communicated that I was feeling burdened, seeing them continue to pile on that pressure felt too heavy for me."

At the same time, she seriously worried whether her actions might have caused Kang Shin-woo to misunderstand. The panelists reacted with regret, saying, "She never acted to that extent, but she did leave room for that person to possibly misunderstand."

Furthermore, Kim Da-hye surprised everyone by making a sudden comparison, stating that she felt Kang Shin-woo's mother's stories and actions lacked consideration for her, and adding, "It made me think that things might have been different if it were Ye-chan's mother."
