"He's Ruined the Kids" Hong Kyung-min ♥ Kim Yu-na to Join 'You're my destiny'

Singer Hong Kyung-min is set to reveal his turbulent married life with his wife, haegeum player Kim Yu-na.

At the end of the August 4 broadcast of SBS's "You're my destiny", a preview aired featuring Hong Kyung-min and Kim Yu-na as the new couple, drawing significant attention.

The preview video began on a warm note, with their 10-year-old eldest daughter, Rawon, preparing breakfast all by herself. However, the peaceful meal time was short-lived, as a disagreement between the couple over their children's allowance heightened the tension.

When Hong Kyung-min tried to give his daughter 5,000 won, his wife Kim Yu-na strongly objected, saying, "Why does she need money? 1,000 won is plenty, why give her 5,000 won?" Eventually, Kim Yu-na voiced her pent-up frustrations, stating, "You're making the kids too soft."

The conflict extended to the children's education. While Kim Yu-na insisted, "We've stopped all their private academies, so they need to at least maintain an average level," Hong Kyung-min pushed back, saying, "I'm not sure if they really need to go to college by forcing it like that," revealing their contrasting views on parenting.

In a subsequent interview, Kim Yu-na made the blunt remark, "He has completely ruined the kids," to which Hong Kyung-min jokingly compared it to his hit song "Shaky Friendship," adding, "They say singers follow their songs, and I wonder if my friendship with my wife is shaking," raising anticipation for the upcoming episode.

The everyday life of the Hong Kyung-min and Kim Yu-na couple, filled with realistic parenting conflicts, will be revealed on "You're my destiny" airing on Tuesday, August 11 at 10:40 PM.
