Luxury goods seized from tax evaders will find new owners through an auction.
Gyeonggi Province announced that it will publicly sell 620 items seized from high-amount local tax evaders at KINTEX in Goyang on the 27th.
The items up for sale include 28 luxury watches, 171 luxury bags, and 265 pieces of precious jewelry.
The items feature high-end watches and bags worth millions of won, including a luxury watch with a starting bid of 13.5 million won.
Bidding will take place via smartphones on-site from 9:00 a.m. to noon on the day of the event, and the highest bidder will win the item and take delivery on-site.
