The Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) announced that it has launched a company-wide innovation task force (TF) led directly by the head of the institution, aimed at delivering public-perceptible results.
The TF operates under two main pillars: management innovation and business innovation, spanning six subcommittees headed by executives. The agency head will directly preside over monthly performance and innovation review meetings to check the progress and achievements of each task.
Under the management innovation pillar, three subcommittees focusing on strategic planning and job-centric management, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and artificial intelligence (AI) transformation, and safety management as well as finance and budget management will work to strengthen internal controls and spread a culture of integrity.
The business innovation pillar consists of three subcommittees covering cyber threat response, personal information protection, and information security and internet industry promotion. They will focus on expanding policy outcomes and enhancing the execution capabilities of core projects responding to digital environment changes.
In addition, the agency plans to intensively review policies and projects in future core security technology fields, such as AI security and post-quantum cryptography.
Junior board members will also participate in the monthly performance innovation review meetings to voice on-the-ground perspectives, suggesting feedback on organizational culture improvement and operational innovation.

"We will be reborn as a trusted national information protection and digital specialized agency."
