At a press conference yesterday (August 3), Director Nolan mentioned that he knew Korean audiences loved his film 'Interstellar' and that he had wanted to visit Korea for a long time.
He added that he is also curious about the reactions of Korean audiences who watch 'Odyssey'.
'Odyssey' was filmed entirely with IMAX film cameras, allowing viewers to experience grand visuals and overwhelming sound.
The director emphasized that he wanted audiences to feel as though they were invited on Odysseus's journey, urging them to watch the movie in theaters.
Actor Matt Damon, who played Odysseus, has visited Korea for the first time in 10 years.
He drew attention after being spotted at a baseball stadium last Saturday.
Damon said that the energy of Korean baseball was incredible and the fans' passion was immense.
