Group Red Velvet released their new mini-album "Velvet Summer," featuring five tracks including the title song "Surfin' Boy," this afternoon (August 3).
This marks Red Velvet's first release as a complete group in two years and two months, following "Cosmic" in June 2024.
Ahead of their comeback, Red Velvet performed the title track "Surfin' Boy" and b-side track "Hula Hoop" for the first time during their fan concert held at Hojung Gymnasium for three days from July 31 to August 2.
Members Irene, Wendy, Joy, Seulgi, and Yeri shared through their agency, "We were thrilled to prepare an album together as a complete group for the first time in a while," and vowed to repay fans for waiting over two years with great music and performances.
