Line 1 Trains Bypass Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Station During Rush Hour Due to Emergency Repairs

Trains on both bound directions toward Soyosan and Yeoncheon on Seoul Subway Line 1 are bypassing Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Station without stopping and experiencing delays during the evening rush hour.

Korea Railroad Corporation (Korail) announced via a notification at around 5:00 p.m. today (August 3) that "due to emergency repair work on the overhead catenary wire at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Station on Line 1, inbound and outbound commuter trains toward Soyosan and Yeoncheon are bypassing the station without stopping and running with delays."

An official from the corporation stated, "We are currently investigating the cause."
